The following agreements have been modified to simple terms to understand our policies and exceptions. Legal documents can be downloaded on the bottom of this page.
License A
This license permits the use of our samples in demos, records, DJ sets, mixtapes, remixes, commercials, jingles, post productions, commissioned pieces, soundtracks for film, theatre, musicals and live performances. The sounds related to this agreement are transferable so you may sell your composition to a third party (such as an artist, producer, label) however this license does not authorize the use of samples to be resold in sampling CDs or any production music libraries.
License B
This license permits the use of our samples in demos, records, DJ sets, mixtapes, remixes, commercials, jingles, post productions, commissioned pieces, soundtracks for film, theatre, musicals and live performances. In order to validate this license you must credit us by including “contains samples by Motion” on your album and sign a license B form found in your account. This agreement is only licensed to the name on the account and is not transferable to third parties. Anyone other then the original licensee must purchase their own copy.
Credits for websites, film or TV use isn't required, except on soundtrack albums.
Promo License
This license only allows the use of our samples for non-profitable promotions and personal entertainment. We do not permit these samples or compositions to be used in records, DJ sets, mixtapes, remixes, commercials, jingles, post productions, soundtracks for film, theatre, musicals, live performances or for any commercial purposes where commissions are earned.
To inquire about licensing for record releases you must fill out a form located in your account and must have interest from an established record label or publisher. These license agreements are negotiable between our company and the producer, label or publisher in regards to the terms and royalty commission. In most cases you will need an entertainment lawyer to negotiate on your behalf which may cost you money.

License C (TV/Film)
Scoring music for TV & Film can be challenging which is why we've created a new sound library format just for that. The idea is to provide you with a full sound library for the cost of one license fee allowing you to choose the right score for your scene. Here's how it works:
Each library contains a series of original instrument scores from 30sec to 3min arranged in wide selection of tempos that will help you fit the duration of your scene. Every pack stays within a theme of a certain instrument and mood so there are many similarities but also changes in tempo, key, tone, arrangement, ect. Many of the scores can be used as is but is intended as a compositional starting point. Having a full sound library at hand gives you the option of selecting scores you want to work with or even make changes half way through your project.
This License permits the use of one composition (score) contained in the sample library for commercial media projects. They can be used as is, remixed or included in your musical composition for film scores, commercials, jingles, post productions, commissioned pieces, soundtracks, theatre, musicals, live performances, demos and record releases. If you require the use of two or more compositions then you must purchase a new license (product) for each composition being used. The sale price of the sample library is an average license fee per score.
When your project is complete you are required to file a license form before the commercial release date of your media project. This form can be accessed in your account under License C Registration
